How To Create Or Break A Habit

Image
How To Create Or Break A Habit  This blog is made to give you the information you need to make or break a habit.  Using this I’ve successfully been able to make going to the gym a habit and break bad eating habits  Therefore by the end of this blog, you will know how to create a good habit you desire or break a bad habit you currently have.  At the epicentre of every habit is a neurological loop. This neurological loop consists of three parts which are: Cue - routine - reward  Cue is the thing that triggers the loop. These can be hard to identify when breaking a habit. So it’s best to deal with the other two first when trying to break a habit. When creating a habit this is the thing which we are going to use to trigger the habit we want to create. Routine is the most obvious part, it’s the behaviour you want to develop, change or stop/prevent. Rewards. Rewards satisfy cravings, and cravings can drive our behaviour. You have to experiment with rewards to se...

LEVEL UP! - THE IMPORTANCE OF SELF DEVELOPMENT

WHY YOU NEED TO LEVEL UP! - THE IMPORTANCE OF SELF DEVELOPMENT I want to be clear that this blog isn't intended to make you feel anxious or negatively impact you in any way. My only wish is that it motivates you to want to level up! Now. Remember that dream.  That nightmare where you couldn’t keep up with your parents (or someone close to you) while they were walking and they just left you where you were.  Left you behind. Abandoned.  That’s exactly what’s going to happen if we don’t level up. The friends and family around us are all chasing their dreams trying to achieve greatness. This means they are constantly improving themselves, fixing their flaws, strengthening their weaknesses, dropping toxic traits. This is levelling up. We have to do the same. We have to learn about ourselves, we need to know our weaknesses & strong points so our weaknesses don't hold us back. That our toxic traits don't break us and the people around us down! Why not be the one to help your...

What to do in self isolation

What to do in self-isolation   Welcome back growth family, this blog is about what to do in self-isolation and its purpose is to inspire action from you! Firstly, the utmost important thing is your mental health, so please understand that if you are dealing with any mental health issues I do not mean to pressure you into thinking you need to do a whole load of things when you are already facing issues.  Now. Most of our obligations are in hold due to self-isolation. so we have that one thing which so many of us never value. That thing which we don't even know how much of it we have left. The same thing we can never get back. TIME. We finally have the time to sit down and do what we actually want to do. Understand that I'm not saying everyone has to start a hustle or a business of any kind but we all have our goals for the year. We can spend more time working on them. Review your 2020 plan. How can you excel it? Does it need to change? You want to go to a particular industry? R...

APPRECIATE YOURSELF

Image
BIG UP YOURSELF  APPRECIATE YOURSELF  Look at how far you have come. Everything you’ve been through  Everything you’ve achieved  Every challenge you’ve faced and beat.  I feel like we don’t actually take time out to appreciate ourselves for all that we’ve done. Maybe it’s because a lot of us want to go so much further, that in comparison to that, our current/previous achievements are nothing.  But we need to start big’n ourselves up for everything, big or small.  Why do we shame ourselves for our failures from 10 years ago but don’t praise ourselves for our achievements 10 years ago?  When we begin to start big’n ourselves up for everything that we’ve done, we begin to understand that the struggle is only temporary and apart of the process.  After this read, make sure you spend at least 10 minutes appreciating yourself for beating challenges and obstacles you faced, for all of your achievements, and ever...
