Being Independent in University and Life Welcome back blog family.  It's your Grandad AO and The Growth Never Stops .  EVERYBODY NEEDS INDEPENDENCE , especially people going to university. University most definitely teaches people independence by throwing them in the deep-end. Forcing us students to cook and learn how to fend for ourselves. Even force ourselves to go into our most hated lectures at 9AM! But with saying that, you can easily be a university student and not be independent.  We all need to understand that IT IS ONLY US ON OUR JOURNEY'S in life. I'm not saying that we are all alone in this walk of lives or that we don't have people there for us such as friends and family. What I am saying is we are the only ones who go through exactly what we go through when we go through it. WE are the only one who decide where we go on this journey with our actions. DON'T STRESS I feel like we (yes I'm included) needed a reminder not to stress. It's so easy to feel under pressure or threatened with things that go on in our lives but we really need to do our best to stress as little as possible.  I don't know anyone who stress is good for. Likely due to the fact that it's not good for anyone.  Now I know that there are many people who excel when under pressure, but stress and pressure is not the same thing.  So here are a couple things which can help anyone deal with stress: - Exercise  - Challenge negative thoughts  - Plan big days & split up tasks  - Tell someone about it I want everyone to know that if you are feeling stressed, you will eventually get through it. There's nothing wrong with looking in the mirror and affirming to yourself that 'Even though I am stressed right now, I will get through this'. YOU NEED TO REST. RESTING IS APART OF THE HUSTLE

YOU NEED TO REST YOU THERE YES YOU YOU WHO IS READING THIS.  IDC WHAT YOU DO BUT WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU SPEND YOUR TIME DOING. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOU REST.  Resting is important for everyone. We are only human and even in saying that, robots need rest too. If  we don’t rest then we will burn out and face ‘quince quinces’ (consequences).  We PHYSICALLY NEED REST. For example our bodies need rest from gym. For optimal muscle growth we need to rest each muscle group for 48-72 hrs. WE MENTALLY NEED REST. Even our brains have to rest. For the average person, our concentration spans deplete after about 45 mins of trying to concentrate. With a 20 minute REST after that, our concentration levels recover to about 50% and then decrease again slowly over time.   DONT get me wrong by all means work your hardest when your putting in work but make sure that you rest your hardest when it’s time to rest to. GYM IS A MAJOR KEY! START GYM ASAP! Welcome back Blog family. GYM can teach you so many habits and tendencies that are transferable into whatever you may be trying to do in life. Since going gym I have definitely been able to learn these  Entrepreneurial & Millionaire habits... These are Discipline, Consistency, Patience, The ability to learn from others, to regularly check progress, how to pick yourself up after falling off/ failing, that everyone's process is different, lets you know if your a morning or evening person and you learn how to plan your day better. To some people, these may be self-explanatory but let me explain, just in case it's not for you.   DISCIPLINE can be learnt through the gym because if you want to see real results, regardless of what your goal is you are going to need the DISCIPLINE to make sure you are eating the right things.
